Piano Fingers Sewing Masks

I no longer sell face masks, but I have decided to keep this blog here as during the pandemics it was a big part of my life.
☝☝

Hello and welcome :)

I am a professional musician living in Charlton, a lovely suburb of South East London. Like many other artists, as soon as the coronavirus struck, I lost all my performance income. All my concerts, theatre shows, private gigs and lots of accompanying work at Junior Trinity College in Greenwich got cancelled or postponed with no new dates on the horizon.

But, the show must go on... no matter what!... So, what did I do? I learned how to sew, and now I use my piano fingers to sew stylish face coverings! You can find out more about my fashion statement masks on social media, where I will be uploading my new designs and fabrics, so don't forget to follow me!

You can also email me directly at pianistandrea@gmail.com if you'd like to place an order or share any feedback on wearing my masks.

🎹  And of course, I still play the piano, and since the start of the lockdown, I have organised several online events for my piano students, friends and followers.

My last concert was a fundraiser for Greenwich-based charity MumsAid, and we raised £900 in total! Here is a short clip form the concert of my fingers playing the piano :) YOUTUBE LINK.

We need music now more than ever, so it's it essential to keep playing during this uncertain time. And if we can use our talent to help those who are in need, that's even better!

For the list of my upcoming performances visit my website, and I would be delighted to see you in one (or more) of my next events. In fact, you can now hear me play live even if you are on the other side of the planet!

P.S. If you decide to buy one of my masks, I hope you will like it, and thank you for supporting my coronavirus "the show must go on" project.

I can insert a nose wire which will create an adjustable nose bridge to fit around your nose to ensure a more secure fit. The wire can be removed before you wash your mask and put back in place before you wear it again.
